Discovering that they are not alone goes far in comforting anyone diagnosed with cancer and those who are related. How is the Cancer Support Community (CSC) able to achieve this?

As an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, education and hope to people affected by cancer, it employs vast numbers of psychosocial oncology mental health professionals. It also offers to all affected by cancer a menu of personalized services and education.

What preserves these support services within a network of professionally led community-based centers, hospitals, community oncology practices, and other facilities?

Volunteers are essential to each Cancer Support Community local organization. There is a variety of ways you personally can get involved, some of which are detailed here.
